Bjorn Journal

A friend of mine has a strong connection to Nordic culture. He has a fascination with Thor's hammer and Nordic runes, so I stitched a book cover with a design for Thor's Hammer based off of classic Nordic designs seen in folklore and pendants. Then, I asked him to pull together a set of runes that he felt personally connected to.
These runes, when put together, mean "Bjorn", which is his nickname, and a name he feels truly bonded with. They also come together to give a rough translation to "The bounty of my family holdings for the year, travels with me through harsh times"
Overall, I really like how this journal turned out. I was able to give it an inner lining and make it look more like a real booklet. ;w;
